Marathon Pigeons is a site born out of passion. The main idea of this project was the need of finding a common virtual place for the pigeon fanciers worldwide.
Behind this whole project, there is the life story of a man who discovered this passion as a little child. Even though there were little possibilities and resources at that time, he managed to get his passion to the next level, through love, ambition and curiosity. All these helped him create the solution to all the problems that showed up along the way.
This is the reason we want to cover all the possible questions and needs that each pigeon fancier might have; we also want to make it a lot easier for you to find useful information regarding this sport.
Our intention for this site is to facilitate the communication between the people who are interested in this sport and to raise their awareness. Therefore, we also like to call this virtual space the Pigeon Fancier’s Encyclopedia.
